This Week
A huge well done and thank you to everyone who has got through this week. It has been probably one of the hardest weeks this year, but we have all got through it together with resilience and strength. For both staff and children, it has been incredibly hot and exhausting but everyone has pulled together and shown that true Team TC spirit. A huge thank you to all the staff for their incredibly hard work this week and dedication to the children, you are all superstars! A big thank you to you as parents also, for supporting us in keeping the school open. Today we took Year 3 to Whipsnade - which was incredible, if not a little hot! The children thoroughly enjoyed themselves and had a fab day. On Wednesday, classes were shared and there was a real buzz on Thursday around it. I appreciate sometimes children can feel worried or anxious about change, but on the whole when the children start back in September they are all so resilient and manage the situations so well. Positivity and reassurance to the children, that it is ok to have that feeling, but it will pass, always helps. In two weeks, we have a our transition day, which will be great to get to know their new teachers and / or classes. Next week we have our Year 4 residential, which we are all really looking forward too and luckily, will be slightly cooler. Have a fabulous weekend.
Worship
On Monday, our Spiritual Ambassadors led a wonderful worship on Saint Alban and his life and the importance of him and he a quiz at the end. Well done to the Spiritual Ambassadors and thank you to Mrs Roberts for organising and leading it alongside them.
